punchworthy

A blog whereby I motivate myself, and my readers, to punch me in the mouth.

Community Chest

Here's something from my community's chest that I found entertaining and educational. Hope you do, too.

I consider it a win if I can play monopoly and _only_ lose two hours of life.

Of course, Axis and Allies can easily eat up 4 hours, but it is a much more interesting game.

And Blitzkrieg can eat up 15-30, but I guess that's why I haven't found too many people to play it with.

Any video game will also eat up a good 100.

Yes, it is a horrible game. We are taught to be greedy vicious, and not care for our neighbors through this game. If all you want in life is to be a capitalist, then it's great.

Axis and Allies, now, that's a game of war, teaching tactics, strategy, and the power of the unexpected. Not to mention it requires a lot of thought simply to play, not just play well.

And Dungeons and Dragons, depends on the group. At its best, it's a great way to kill 4-6 hours hanging out with your friends.
