What do you guys think of this..?

10% is not enough

I found it through shlog.com, Shaun Groves' blog. So there's a discussion going on over there, as well.

And speaking of not giving... tune in again soon for, "Who'd'a thunk it?" or "I take over the world via apathy".

'z'alright

Just got back. Seems like it was pretty good.

The sound was a little squirrelly.. the system hovering on the edge of overdrive.. but minus sonic perfection, it was still, I think, good.

We didn't even mess anything up! At least I didn't. Other than the occassional guitar flub. Didn't quite lose my voice, either, which was a distinct possibility.

As far as I could tell, everybody else rocked it quite successfully.

One thing I can count on

Showtime!

Today I'm going to do a little Praise-ing in the Park with Elevenfold. I sure hope we don't stink it up! : -P

I also hope (more positively) that we all get to have a good time, and that things sound good so that people enjoy themselves, and, enjoying themselves, buy lots of hot dogs, so that some kids can get a neat education that they otherwise wouldn't be able to afford.

We can actually rock... and occassionally do... when not forgetting lyrics or chord progressions or swallowing bugs or something. So I'm going for rocking it out! ..but then you never know about monitor mixes, or audience participation, or any of that other stuff which can be detrimental to the rocking.

But I know--not just "hope"--that in all of this there is One Thing I Can Count On.

Josh Henry will show up prepared to ROCK. "I AM PREPARED TO ROCK!" He will say. And he will mean it!

I'll let y'all know if he manages to drag the rest of us over the wall with him...
